Major Nida Malik Hasan, a Palestinian American who is Muslim, was wounded and arrested, after killing 12 American soldiers and wounding more than 30 other soldiers in a public rampage on a Texas army base Thursday.  Barack Obama, President of the United States, has declared Friday a day of national mourning.
