Oasis Of Sand
By: Ebrahim Hamzah

Blue sky of velvet.
End of beginning.
Where there is no rain,
There is no water.
The well is of empty.
The oasis is of sand.
Groping for water.
One seise be quenched.

Assalamu alaykum, may the peace and blessings of Allah subhana wa ta'ala be upon you, my brothers and sisters. And may Allah subhana wa ta'ala always help us and always guide us, amiin amin.

Assalamu alaykum, greetings also. Oasis Of Sand is a poem describing how our humanly senses may lead us to illusion. The oasis is a fasad of waterless paradise that has many great things which we may enjoy, but without the love from Allah subhana wa ta'ala which comes with rain the oasis will perish. One may scrammble for the good things in this oasis, but nothing will  last without the mercy of Allah. This poem is saying that we as human beings may decieve ourselves by forgetting what is important. In this poem the water is ar-raheem, this is the tender mercy from Allah subhana wa ta'ala that enables us all to live. Without this tender mercy how would we survive. I appreciate your replies. Sai an jima.
