a walk through paradise or so it may seem,
  for love is but an awful dream,    
  we go in search of what we call "the one"
  but after laughter,broken hearts n tears are
  sure to come


  we fall in love for no paticular reason,
  as a dream has little or no meaning,
  i've loved and lost yet cant seem to understand,
  how a feeling so good could end up hurting so bad


  please touch my soul and heel the pain,
  or erase the memories and make it go away,
  help bring back the days as they were before
  and give me hope to smile again once more
