Assalamu alaikum;

I was just curious, where do you get the majority of your news. No limit to either local or computer news either. Whatever news you get, where do you find it?

Personally, I use BBC and VOA Hausa News, Google news... and Gamji

Haza wasalam

mostly from friends and in the streets.amma dai usually the news originated from the bbc or voa and then it will be given a little touch(kwas kwarima or flavour)

I got mine from the f***** up amurika media. You know its 0nly 1% true so I sometimes look up in local sites. Unfortunately this site Kanoonline.com is dead. No news nothing. I'm sorry but thats it. If you take out this forum, there is nothing to see except the governors dates. Lol
ny good thing I said is from Allah and any bad thing I said is from me...So I ask for Allah's forgiveness for my errors both conscious and unconscious ones...Ameen!!!

online infos: google,yahoo,... :-/ u know and others like journals,magazines,newspapers (& they come in wide range and in different names) does this make sense :-/  :-
ahhh!!!! & dont 4get word of mouth very important not 2 mention d alot of discrepancies ;)
Despite ur slammin, am still jammin!!!

lionger

yahoo news, BBC, nigeriaworld.com. I don't read newspapers..at least not here.

Sas

I still stand by my view that the site is 'dead' apart from the forum. What else does it provide, something close to nothing. Come on look it up and tell me what is latest apart from the addition of Shekarau as the governor. Most of the things were there for years and not updated and some are links so what is new?

I believe it could be inproved to serve the people more. I donno who is in charge of it but this is not an insult of any kind its just an opinion. Peace

Well most of it originated from word of mouth,then if interested try to read from a paper or listen to bbc or voa,most of the time the local radio only projected the govt image so there is nothing to listen to.

Thats a very nice observation Sanusi it's when u said it that i realized i've never noticed a change on the home page of konline (xcept 4 shekarau).i always go to the discussion forum straight and i suspect everybody does the same.Anyway for me to say that the site is dead is not appropriate so lang as the dicussion forum will be as lively as it is(or even livelier as it waz b4) then it will help keep the site alive and productive.
i hope the administrators have taken note..
