As Muslims,we expect to die and go straight to Paradise.Yet what do we do to deserve entry into this everlasting place of peace?
Everday those who work get up early, dress and leave for the office. They come back in the evening ,eat, watch TV.Some sleep, some socialise a bit ,others attend tiredly to their family before exhaustion takes over. Some dont even come back home till the family is asleep.
So when do we have time to really attend to the wife/husband and kids? When do we enjoy the gift Allah has given us?Let alone pray nawafil and say dhikr each day?
If you were to be asked-Are you ready to die now,are you sure of Paradise?what would you say?Have you done enough last year ,last month, yesterday or even today to deserve eternal peace?Have you thanked ,praised and asked for God's forgiveness today?
For most of us its no.We are too busy during the day except for the daily prayers. We watch Tv for hours ,football makes us postpone prayers, computers have us glued to the internet, phones have us chatting till past prayer times .Yet during this time we could have held the tasbah and said dhikr. We could have prayed.
Think about it. So are you sure of your good deeds?
Are you ready to die now?

But  the question is -whether you are man or woman, single or married, rich or poor, literate or illiterate, happy or not,are you ready to die now?At this very moment? Are yoou sure of your deeds, the good deeds?
I dont believe you have to be married to go to Aljannah.I also agree it is better to be married before one dies but then look at the way marriages are turning out now in this day and age?Would you really say all these married people still engaged in zina(both men and women),still neglecting their marital duties in one way or the other are better off?.Look at it this way wouldnt it be better to be single and do all the wrong stuff than be married and do it while it carries twice as much burden than when single?Mind you im not saying that being single is an excuse for sinning.Just trying to put a point across.
So.You ready to die now?

precious

Mlbash,to your question. That is, the first question.I think i might just be ready. After a little bit more Qiyamul Layl say for like three months non stop, and some sadaqatul jariyah and some other things i want to do.
Err i guess i'm not so 100 % ready.Yet.
But if i should go now, well, Allah ya sa ni a Al-jannatul Firdaus.Amin.All of you say amin mana.
