BOKOLOJI CATTLE
Where is your horn Bokoloji?
I asked the Heardsman right.
He looked towards the Bokoloji,
And smiled with great delight.

The Fulani loves his cattle,
He herds for all his life;
All armed and set for battle,
At stake was all his life.

The Bokoloji has no horns,
He said without a fight;
All cattle should have horns;
But I guess the man was right.

The Bokoloji is a special one.
The herdsman keeps in sight.
Cattle thieves choose a special one
And the bokoloji is just right.
