Salaam Admin.
With all due respect, you are beginning to act like a jailer or a prison warden, locking up topics left right and centre at the slightest whiff of provocation. I can understand yr locking up 'satellite' started by mrguest, because the conversation was becoming er...heated. But why Ete's thread on northern youths wanting blah..blah..? It wasnt an advert. He just brought up another contentious issue that is all. Please unlock it and let ppl express and share their points of view.

Sincerely, what Husna said is an obvious fact that you supposed to take into consideration as soon as possible Sir/Madam-Admin.
Why did I say so? Presently there are number of Sites that have same features with this very one, but, it may suprise you because they don't use to block threads unless they completely broke the rules and regulation that it's built upon every single propose post.
Consider this plaese.....we beg.

I agree with everyone here about the admin's unprofessional conduct of locking up forum's at will. What exactly is wrong with the article that I posted? That article was not written by me. It is an article that was published on a Nigerian news website. What makes the article an advertisement?
I would like the admin to provide proper explanation for his action. This type of conduct where free speech and opinions are stiffled is the very thing we are trying to get away from in Nigeria.
Maybe the admin is just upset at the story, and that is fine. It is ok to come out and make that admission, but shutting down a thread with flimsy reasons is unacceptable.

Ok, I get it now. Wow! So the next time someone posts an article and the word "advertisement" shows up somewhere in the article, that means the article itself is automatically considered an ad, and as such the thread will be shut down? Oh wow! I get it, I get it now admin. Thanks for the clarification. I am completely enlightened now. Wow! What was I thinking?

LOL @ this thread. I sympathise with Ete though. Admin's style of compassionate dictatorship is sometimes perplexing. Ok Admin, how about you unlock the thread and have Ete delete the 'advertisement' word? That should solve everything :idea:
