This man, aremu is not even ashamed of him self to have the guts of staying 4 additional 6 months in office after his woeful performance. What is there that he has not done that can be done in six month? Or is it the railway money that he is eying for?

o try and fail is atleast to learn. That will save one the inestimable loss of what might have been (positive or negative).

Nigeria, oh Nigeria.
Allah, oh Allah,
Bring bliss to that bunch of sticks
Tied with a harsh, hot & hard rope.
Of leaders-shameless ones,
Like Mr. Aremu & co-others.
Oh Allah; sleepless you are.
Tireless (to extricate) figure is you.
Mercy upon the citizens of this
melting pot.
Your protection is the only weapon
We (masses) we have at hand.

Haba Obasanjo? We aren't statues. I think you'll someday see what your eyes had never seen before. Hakurinmu ya kusa karewa. Do you know revolution?
Get to know [and remember] Allah in prosperity & He will know  [and remember] you in adversity.

i agree with you wat is he gonna do in six months that he dint do since his time?? And i dont know why he's talking bout bringing in a railway, well........... i mean its a gud idea but c'mon now there are things that need to be sorted out in nigeria things that are much important than a railway. How many things has he and his people said they were going to do and how many of them were done???there are still people suffering, there are roads to be fixed, electricity to be stable, water to be sufficient n clean. Somtimes things are started then and left uncompleted ALLAH taimaki NIGERIA with a leader that is honest and truthful to himself and the people of Nigeria AMEEN.

Well, Amira  it is so glaring, vivid and clear that OBJ and his cronies have woefully failed Nigeria and Nigerians with words of mouth.Out of all the projects they promised to execute, very little were seen and actualised. The rest are now History. He and all those Abuja crowds want to forge ahead, because leadership in Nigeria is always considered as a do or die affair. People here have high penchant to remain on power as if they are ruling their family. They simply forget that leadership is all about seeking mandate and consent of the majority. May God help Nigeria. Amen!!!!!

Well i think you will all find that things are changing in Nigeria.
It is now becoming harder for the wishes of authoritarian and repressive leaders to prevail over those of the citizens (for example 3rd term debacle).
Nigerians are wiser and any moves or attempts which even hint at ?sit-tight? agendas harbored by our tyrannical leaders are easily and swiftly recognized and halted.
Although i agree and strongly feel Obj's time is up and he should up and leave Aso V come 2007,i disagree that he has performed woefuly and has nothing to show by way of acheivements.
Rather things like pensions reform act, some economic reforms, status of our external reseves and national debts.the integrated power project are a few of the very few things he has acheived.
I beleive Obasanjo has done his best......but his best is just not good enough,so i wish him safe and enjoyable retirement @ his farm

Obasanjo's best effort was to create a fiscally attractive Nigeria for the world bank and imf. but he has failed to address the basic needs of the ppl
