Despite our historical headthrough in marketing and commerce, couple with our religiuos inclination,we are lagged far behind in the utilization and adoption of the SMEIS ,which is to me much more Islamic in both nature and design.
Islamic doctrine prohibites interest and it's allies, and the scheme not an interest oriented, rather equity in nature and design.Islam allowed co-investment and profit sharing, which is the focal point of SMEIS,yet it looks and sound amazing that of the #18.3bn naira kept aside for the scheme, only  #4.2bn naira was utilize, and of these amount utilizes,82% was utilize by the Lagosians, the rest spread accrose the south-south states with only kaduna and plataeu from the north with an insignificant  percentage,Kano of all ancient marks of commerce is at zero level as far as SMEIS is concern.
What actualy is our problem?I will in my next posting try to have an indept look at the situations as i look forward to your individual analysis.
REMEBER,SMEIS IS PURELY ISLAMIC IN APPROACH.
Till i read from you.
I remain ,Fulanize or Buzuzu
