ol Myself u really dont know? Biyo ni cookery forum, I will try and remember how its made. Been a long time since I last ate it and in any case when i tried to make it it turned soggy with oil. Something went wrong..... ;D. Its absolutely tasty though when done right.

yes well I can understand why baki san dan tamalele ba. You know the saying that necessity is the mother of invention. I strongly believe that economic situation din Nigeria made ppl very innovative and original where food is concerned so as to reduce waste and utilize every available grain of food. Kin san da ai tsaki was for dabbobbi only; hardly anyone ate it as meal in itself. Ko da a keyin fatan tsaki ma ai a da it abincin nishadi ne ba wai a main course in it self bane. It was just a relief from the the daily grind of eating tuwo every day or every other day.
Yanzu ma, for a long time, it has been the norm for some kids at boarding sch to make garin kanzo a part of their sch provisions. They use it as a substitute for garin kwaki. Allah dai Ya Kyauta ameen.

Kunun Aya ... I have never drank anything as delicious a Nigeria dai.

Nope never heard of it infact.. Grits.. to ai tsiyar abin sun zuba mishi flavors like honey or vanilla to make it tastier hala? How do u do that with masarar gida? Amma fa kuma inda za mu iya ragargaza ta mu dan soye ta kamar a kasko sai ta koma grits fa ko? sai kuma mu dan sa zuma mu gauraye mu bar shi a rana ya karasa bushewa... yes... TRUE GRITS... ;D ;D ;D
