Nuruddeen

You are welcome to the 10 Commandments to financial freedom. But remember, you got to exercise them with caution as failure in one command leads to absolute collapse of your business livewires.

The Commandments!!!!!!

1. Thou shall by all means know the state of your financial health. That is the starting point for financial freedom for you can?t have an enduring cure for an ailment the nature of which you don?t know.

2. Thou shall create a column for God by paying 5-10% of all your income as alms/ sadaqah so that he can sanctify the remaining 90-95%.

3. Thou shall take out the next 10 and put it in any investment vehicle that pays return higher than inflation rate. It is wise to add unexpected money as well as any raise from promotion to your savings.

4. Thou shall take full control of the way you spend by recording every kobo spent on any transaction and every kobo that flows into your pocket. There is no wisdom in buying on impulse.

5. Thou shall prepare a financial freedom plan stating when you want to retire and what level of investment you must have at retirement that can generate enough return to take full care of your retirement expenses. You must set specific money goal.

6. Thou shall look for a mentor on whose feet you must sit to learn about personal financial management. You should look for individuals who can stand by you on spiritual emotional matters.

7. Thou shall invest in your mind and brain more than you invest in your physical appearance. What you do on the inside determines how far you can go outside.

8. Thou shall develop alternative sources of income to your salaries. You cannot be wealthy by working for your boss alone. Use your spare time profitably.

9. Thou shall take your spouse into consideration in any financial decisions you want to make. This can save you from unnecessary heartache and headache.

10. Thou shall act on all the steps above if you want to achieve financial freedom. They look very simple but that is where your salvation and fortunes lies.

Note:

one thing that is important which is not mentioned is the "Corporate Machiavelli".

" Learn everything you can about prospective employers who interest you and use this knowledge every chance you find when you write them, contact them by phone, or interview in person. Dress up the cover letters you send out with your resumes, dress up the follow up notes you send out after interviews, and use clean sharp typing. Dont forget to add a personal line of some sort in your handwriting below your signature"

Beginners rules are  simple:

Keep your mouth shut, your eyes open, and your friends close but keep your enemies closer. That is the rule of the game! Do what you are told. Treachery is the normal background of every human, there fore don't hesitate to associate with those better than you and be ready to pay full expenses. This defines your relationship to my mentoring. No task I give you is too mean or bloody that you would hesitate to undertake it.
o try and fail is atleast to learn. That will save one the inestimable loss of what might have been (positive or negative).

Nuruddeen,

Thanks for your insightful commandments on financial independence.

And may i add a possible eleventh, which i believe may be indespensable towards the achievement of success, in any financial prudence?

11th. Though shall not hesitate to adopt and implement the afore-mentioned commandments--the sooner, the greater the prospects of financial freedom!

Salam all,

Yes, I think Nuruddeen got some fine thoughts up there.  For me I think that rule 6 is very to difficult to keep I do not know what you think.
