NIGHT OF THE TWO MOONS

Wasnt this night (9th September) supposed to be the night of the two moons? Its 5:25 AM right now so I must have missed it if it is. Or was it supposed to be in Aug? I really cant remember...
Anyone know about it? One of the planets will be so close to earth that it becomes as visible as the moon and the appearance is such that it looks like there are two moons in the sky.
Oh Pluto has been downgraded from a planet to something else. Cant remember what. A star maybe. Now we only have 8 planets. How exciting......... :roll:

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.

It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will
cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth.
Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth
has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

About Pluto, scientists have decided that it is not a true planet so its status has been changed to dwarf planet, about a month ago. Poor pluto.....

Yeah,from the most recent findings pluto's no longer a planet.In addition,there are about 3 more planet being recently discovered,but have not been officially declared perhaps cuz they are a bit skeptical about re-writing science..

I called a priend op mine on ze way to his house askin' por his whereabouts and he told me he was in ze Kano State Library at Ahmadu Bello Way, so i went zere to meet him instead, not knowin' zat he was attending a conperence on Astronomy in Hausa Language.

I signed ze attendance and Joined and during one fresentation, ze presenter talked about ze demotion op Fluto. I was transpixed coz it was unbeliebable. We were brought with ze knowledge zat fluto is ze nine flanet. So Husnaa u shud understand me when i was being ridiculous!

Never mind Muda, astronomy is one of my interests therefore there was a greater chance of my knowing about it a bi earlier than u. However, the demotion was all over the news and plastered across the internet
