MYSELF, kara is called cane a turance. All forms of plants with kara as their stems (like sugar cane and dawa gero masara) are monocot  plants from the  graminae family.

        I think dorinar ruwa means Octopus because it has eight bearing arms.I cant think of a name for Seal in Hausa but i do know that it is an aquatic mammal that eats fish and has flippers for feet.
