Surely after suffering comes enjoyment

Dan-Borno

ah, ikon Rabbana, what a beautiful memoir from an intelligent
baby girl, how i wish i will sometime also enjoy a holiday.

yes, what maigidan Rahima said is the truth about the nigerian
police, new salary structure couple with the sallah/christmas
and new year public holidays, you dont imagine to see any
police officer harassing motorist.  The effect of this was the
series of armed robbery perpetrated on innocent citizens plying
these roots, especially the north-east.  However, thank God
it was celebrated in peace.

We expect you next year ko?

Lol!! GGNK you need to see my freezer  :o :o, I have almost everything in there.

A friend of mine just came back from visiting home, one of the goodies she brought with her was "RIDI" I don't remember the last time I ate that snack. OMG!! I almost ate all of it.
Life is like a flower; more exquisite and precious when shared with others.

The first thing that I wanted to see was the new Naira notes. I was disappointed. I did not like it one bit. The ten Naira note has no Naira sign on it. I don't know what that 10 stands for. Is it supposed to be 10 goats, 10 mangoes, 10 Alvan Ikokus or maybe simply 10 pieces of the paper? You can only know if you can read. It seems they have not forgotten to write it in full close to poor Mr Ikoku's face. His eyes say it all. They look sad to me. I bet if he could talk, he would be wondering aloud why he has to be the one on that Naira note when people like Bee don't even know what the 10 stands for. Perhaps they were in a hurry and simply forgot to include the Naira sign. Check out the way the 'Naira Goma, Naira Iri and Naira Mewaa were written. Scatted all over the note. The 20 Naira stands out different though. I don't like it much but it looks much 'healthier' than the rest. With all due respect guys, I love Nigeria and I respect our currency. I just don't like the way they look now.

The lack of Naira sign on the notes is to comply with international practice. Most foreign currencies do not carry their currency sign. I don't know why you disliked them so much but they are okay. Probably bcos u are used to dollars and pounds ;D

No, BK, i think the reason is because she wasnt home for so long and was hoping to see the old naira notes so as to feel at home but was disappointed with the new ones cause they are strange to her. Probably!
