Firstly this country has sooooo many issues that need sorting out, i could probabaly make a book about it starting from the small things to the big ones. Theses are just a few things that i have thought about and would like to share with you's.

There is no way nigeria can move on with out having the right leaders, there needs to be strict laws placed down on the country and its people. Example somone made a post about the police how they are not cracking down on arm robbers but why?????and not only that bribery that is taking place there is not a day that passes without a police man somewhere in naija asking for money.

Secondly i dont understand why, if someone is arrested and has the money to be bailed out they are set free, and as for the poor man he stays in there til allah yayi mashi nufin fitowa, because obviously where is he going to get the money from. This shows segregation between the rich man and the poor its like theres one rule for the rich and one for the poor and it shouldn't be like this, now somone tell me is this right truthfully? both the rich n the poor are entitled to equal rights not one being above the other. This is another issue that need to be looked into.

Thirdly, why on earth are some people making fake medicines i mean wat is the point and wat do you get out of making fake drugs its not like your helping anyone its more like your killing people.

to my conclusions i can see that from my first point, second and lastly third its all about  MONEY :x it seems like people dont care where they get the ca$h from and if there is a way that they can make the money....................... they WILL and not even that they choose to get money in the wrong way.

so wat do u onliners think?????????????

I think(from your post) you have from the beginning fish out the problem; Crook leaders. Yes, we're boarded with 'em, and one way out is to, when election comes, cast our votes for the right people for the right Nigeria.

Moreover, think if there is good leadership style in this country; some if not all would lack nothing-his atleast basic needs to satisfy his humanly welfare eg. catering for his family live. etc.

Amira! Do you personally feel the content you expressed? But why do you ran from our beloved Nigeria? Do you anya wanna see this positive change occuring? LOL

In hausa: A'a, 'yan arewa a bar barci,
              Najeriyarmu, akwai dad'i.
              To!  :D

In English: Oh, northerners stop sleeping,
Our Nigeria, it's a pleasant place.
               All right!  :D

yep its a pleasant place when we have gud leaders.

Hajiya Amira,

Your location reveals United Kingdom, it is not by leaving in diaspora that all the problems you enumerated will be solved. Since the problems have been identified, they are half solved, it is better for you and all the rest of Nigerians leaving in diaspora to come back and lets salvage our dear country together. It is not really worth migrating from your motherland to another country where you wont have freedom, where you are always regarded as 'yar Chirani, like we regard our fellow brothers from the neighbouring African countries.

I hope you really feel the content you expressed in your above reply for Barde. You people unexpectedly and srtangely change when you come back. And some are even staying and serve other people whom they are of different religion, colour, beliefs, norms and culture and everything entirely to your parents and for-parent just for wordly thing. I hope our great AMIRA is an exception. Ameen.

Good Amira!Pple here are not ready to help matters. I suppose Barde's statement was originally made by Buhari. But, c how they dealt with Buhari of all ppl. I seriously support your views. Get what you want there and come back later. If u get job there stay. Don't come back until pple are ready to join u for a change. Remember that even God help those who wants to help themselves.
o try and fail is atleast to learn. That will save one the inestimable loss of what might have been (positive or negative).

to cut the long story short, if i may use one genius description to answer your question;

in nigeria today, there are some people who form the majority, they consider success as being rich and failure as being poor, the source of the money is of no significance whatsoever!
t is my intention to make the neglected aspect of our societies viable

sdanyaro

Nuruddeen,
I agree with you 100% about this one. I think that amira could do a lot more from outside the country than within... Allahu a alam!

Barde

Yawwa sannu Amira,

It is unfortunate that people like Nurruddeen and co have lost hope in this country, i still belief we can make it to the promise land inshaAllah.

Just to add to what Muhsin wrote, there is almost a concensus that our major problem is lack of good leadership, so if Nigerians in disapora can come back, with constant enlightenment and perseverance, i belief they can influence the rest of Nigerians to vote for the right candidates and once the right leaders are in control, you will agree with me that things will only get better and better inshaAllah, some of them can even contest, since they don't have that chop-chop syndrome.

I had an upportunity to vote while schooling there and i studied their voting system which i will enlighten my locality come 2007 inshaAllah. Infact i have set aside my annual leave for that purpose inshaAllah. Just think of what will happen if every Nigerian in diaspora will come back and get his locality enlightened, not only on the voting system but on other aspect like sanitation, obeying traffic rules, following queus, etc.

One important thing people like Nuruddeen and co should note is that, that place is not conducive, especially for muslims, one can only have the chance to pray if his break time falls at the same time with the prayer time, if not, one will either hide himself and pray or combine them after working hours, which amount to comprising the life hereafter for this world. The issue is that religion is not in their dictionary, they dont take christianity in to congnizance talkless of islam.

It is really a good idea to go and study there since their system is effective  but please and please come back home immediately after your studies. I don't see how you can benefit your community apart from sending them some few pounds at the expense of some of your necessasities over there. Don't mind Nuruddeen and Danyaro, kinji ko??

Hmmm.......from what am reading of your replies you all have good points that you've made.
1) i agree with you nuruddeen about get what i want hia and come back later, yep thats wen i finish ma studies :P
2) i also agree with you sdanyaro cos yes its possible for me to do more from outside the country by gaining the knowledge from ma studies without all theses strikes that i've mentioned before,
3) And lastly barde i dont even know wat to say apart from inshallah i will be coming back to nigeria so that we can and with many others fight this problem together, allah kaimu ameen.

Hmmn.!  Most said that and yet failed/refused to come back.

sdanyaro

Barde,
I used to think the same as you regarding this matter, but after a long time, I now know that the problem is greater than any one person or persons. The problem is with the system or lack thereof here. Evan if all the Nigerians leaving in Diaspora comes back now, I do not think that, that will change the country that much. It is the system... and the system will in due time absorbed them all.
It is the system...  that is why when somebody goes out, that system usually brings the best of that person.
It is the system... and that is why even when expatriates come here, the system will usually absorb them all if they stay long enough.
So you see the problem is greater than any one person or persons.
Allahu a alam!
